My paintings are always a matter of interpretation. What I see and the story I tell may not be what you see in my work. I am intentional about asking viewers to bring their own experience to a painting or collage.

I work primarily in acrylic and acrylic ink, but I also enjoy collage, mixed media, pen and ink, and experiments with textiles.

I have recently moved to Pennsylvania. Previously my work was on display at 80Six Gallery on North Trade Street in Tryon, North Carolina. I have been an active member of the Art League of Henderson County and served as its president in 2020. Contact: lpadgettart@gmail.com.
